ABOUT YOUR APPOINTMENT
Q: Do I need to do anything to prepare?
A: We recommend that you try to refrain from using any nicotine for 3 hours before your session. 10 hours is the maximum we would want you to go without smoking. Other than that, there is no specific preparation needed beyond a sincere desire to stop smoking.
We will be asking a series of questions regarding your health history, including a list of current or recent medical conditions, and of the medications, supplements and vitamins you are currently taking.
We may ask you to remove some jewelry from your wrists and hands during the session, but we won’t ask to keep them, even if they are really nice.
There is no need to disrobe any articles of clothing for the session, not even if you want to.
Q: How long will it take?
Q: Can I drive myself to and from the session?
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
A: We will recommend a handful of very easy, but very effective tips and techniques that many have found helpful in becoming a former smoker / vaper / chewer. Most tips will revolve around very minor changes in habits, especially for the first week after quitting nicotine.
A: Most clients report very little or no increase in appetite after using Breathe Therapy®’s methods, unlike to other smoking cessation programs.
WHAT ABOUT COST AND PAYMENT?
A: Only Preferred One Insurance paid Breathe directly. WE DO NOT ACCEPT DIRECT PAYMENT FROM ANY OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY. However, if you have an HSA or FSA account, you should be able to use money from your Flex Spending, HSA or Cafeteria Plan account to cover the cost of tobacco cessation programs like Breathe – Freedom from Nicotine. It is always best to contact your Plan Administrator in advance to confirm fund availability for this type of program. Most major insurance carriers have reimbursed our clients for some or all of the cost of our program, but since we do not have a contract with those other companies, you cannot count on reimbursement from them. We give all of our clients insurance reimbursement forms, with the billing & procedure codes that they can submit to their carrier.
A: Under $500*. That’s less than most smokers/vapers/chewers spend on their habit just in 1 month.
